What are the applicants major strengths?
Ms. Milobar is a highly motivated outstanding student who is a self-directed, independent learner and seeks clinical
experiences which challenge her to grow in the delivery of integrated nursing care. She has excellent critical
thinking skills and problem solving abilities with complex patient problems. She approaches her nursing care with a
genuine compassion for others and is developing into a patient advocate. She has honed her leadership skills
through her involvement with the Student Nurses Association.
What areas need further improvement?
Ms. Milobar demonstrates very solid intermediate medical-surgical nursing skills and is able to integrate
pathophysiology, pharmacology, and nursing science at the novice level and continues to grow in this area.
What is your overall evaluation of this student compared with others at the same level in your program?
Ms. Milobar is an exemplary student who has demonstrated the development of a solid nursing skill set across a
wide variety of pediatric and adult medical surgical patients. She is committed to excellence in nursing practice and
is sought out by her peers as a resource person. Ms. Milobar is an excellent candidate for this position. I recommend
her without reservation and believe that she will be an asset to your institution.
