Biology

Year 11 2024
How to succeed in Biology…

1. Complete your homework and assignments on time and READ the feedback
2. Read over and make notes on what you do in class each day – you might like to
use an address book to construct your own dictionary of terms
3. Explain what you learnt to someone (whether they want to hear it or not)
4. Borrow/ buy study guides and work through the content and questions
5. Ask questions in class as soon as you get stuck
6. Ask questions in your own time
7. Date your work, any sheets or homework and your syllabus
8. Practice, practice, practice!

9. Be proactive and keep at it. Year 11 is a huge leap from Year 10.
It’s all in the details….
Stage 6 Biology Course Structure

The Working
Scientifically
outcomes and
content are
integrated into each
module wherever
students undertake
an investigation.
