Some complication in Obstetric Anesthesia can result in either fatal or near fatal
condition leading to the highrate of maternal mortality and morbidity (MMR) in
fact, in Indonesia the MMR is still high. Therefore, we would like to invite you to
participate in “The 3rd Indonesian Scientific Meeting on Obstetric Anesthesia &
Critical Care (ISMOAC)” that will take place in Bali on 22–27th July 2024. This
symposium is designed to emphasize the importance of obstetric anesthesia and
critical care from early detection to the management of the complication that may
arise.
Topics concerning this meeting will equally be distributed in the designed
workshops and symposium. Highly competent speakers from many parts of

developing countries, such as Indonesia. Maternal disparities, socio-economic, and cultural
boundaries could highly affect maternal mortality and morbidity (MMR). Therefore, we would
like to invite you to participate in "The 3rd Indonesian Scientific Meeting on Obstetric
Anesthesia and Critical Care (ISMOAC)" with the theme “New Approaches to Improve
Outcomes" which will take place in Bali on July 22 –27th, 2024. This upcoming symposium is
designed to explore the importance of obstetric anesthesia and critical care in overcoming those
disparities. Topics concerning this meeting will be equally distributed in the workshops and

THE 3RD ISMOAC IN
BROADER PERSPECTIVE
The purpose of this symposium is to reduce the gap in
knowledge and skills among physicians in the obstetric
anesthesia scope. We will provide a designed workshop that
will consist of recent updates, technical skills, and
communication skills to equip the participants to overcome
daily practice challenges.

Discussions are highly encouraged, in which all will be able


to exchange experiences and ideas. Different languages and
cultures will interact, resulting in tolerance and possible
future international collaborations.
