INTRODUCTION
 Due to the city's escalating instances, certain schools in
Manila began offering a limited number of face-to-face
sessions this month of February. Following the
pandemic, parents are given the option of letting their
children attend traditional classroom settings or home
schooling. According to DepEd, "the implementation
also inculcated a culture of shared responsibility among
the national government, parents and learners, the local
government units (LGUs), teachers, school officials and
staff, and other stakeholders in ensuring everyone's
safety and welfare." The students are also assured that
they are safe from the pandemic.

In Sorsogon city, resuming face-to-face classes
will benefit children’s intellectual health and
social development however the decision will
subsquently be up to the Department of
Education (DepEd) and the Inter-Agency Task
Force for the Management of Emerging
Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID).

internet access. Some respondents share about their
opinion on having a negative effect of face to face, the
other respondents said that they usually have difficulty
adjusting to the lesson because they are used to online
learning/modular.Other researcher said that face-to-face
tuition can be quite expensive and because they don’t
really have any money to use to commute to school,so
that’s why other students don’t want to go in school.
