CHAPTER V

SUMMARY OF FINDINGS, CONCLUSION AND

RECOMMENDATION

This chapter presents the summary of findings, so conclusions drawn from the findings and

the corresponding recommendations.

Summary of Findings

After collecting information in the respondents the researchers came up to the

summary of findings.

1. What is the demographic profile of the respondents?

1.1 Age

The largest group of respondents was found on the bracket of 17 years old

with a frequency of 21 or a percentage of 41%. The second highest is the group of 18 years

old with a frequency of 13 or a percentage 29.55%. The third highest group is the age of 19

with a frequency of 6 or a percentage of 11.36%. Then the age of 16 years old has the

frequency of 3 or a percentage of 6.82%. Lastly the age 20 and 22 both got the same number

of frequency of 1 or a percentage of 2.27%

1.2 Gender
The largest group of respondents was found on the bracket of male with a

frequency of 39 or a percentage 88.64%.While the remaining is the group of female with a

frequency of 5 with a frequency of 5 or a percentage of 11.36%.

2. Factors Affecting the Poor Performance

Wiring abilities is poor had gathered a frequency of 44 or a mean of 3.09. Cannot

interpret electrical diagram into actual wiring had gathered a frequency of 44 or a mean of

3.05. The allotted time is not enough to finish the activity had gathered a frequency of 44 or a

mean of 2.98. Do not know how to perform planning had gathered a frequency of 44 or a

mean of 2.80. Cannot focus because poor environment and Do not communicate with others

when performing the activity had both gathered a frequency of 44 or a mean of 2.73. No self-

confidence in own work had gathered a frequency of 44 or mean of 2.64. Lack of idea and

Knowledge had gathered a frequency of 44 or mean of 2.61. The availability of the resources

is inadequate had gathered a frequency of 44 or mean of 2.52. Lack of tool and equipment

had gathered a frequency of 44 or a mean of 2.27

3. Effect of Poor Performance to the Grade

Do not have a chance to get an outstanding grade had gathered a frequency of 44 or a

mean of 3.27. Passing grade is expected but not high enough had gathered a frequency of 44

or a mean of 3.02. Did not meet the grade that is expecting had gathered a frequency of 44 or

mean of 3.00. Grade is passed but not consistent had gathered a frequency of 44 or a mean of

2.91. Unsatisfied to the result of their grade had gathered a frequency 44 or a mean of 2.86.

Getting failed grade is possible had gathered a frequency of 44 or a mean of 2.80. There are

chance to get a high grade and No improvements of their past grades had both gathered a

frequency of 44 or a mean of 2.66. Poor grade is to be expected had gathered a frequency of

44 or a mean of 2.39. Getting an outstanding grade is possible had gathered a frequency of

2.32

CONCLUSION

After interpreting the researcher came up the following conclusion:

1. Finding shows that the highest percentage of Grade 12 Electrical Installation and

Maintenance students is the age of 17 and 18 years old. From the data gathered most of the

respondents are male.

2. The respondents agreed that poor wiring abilities are the main reason why the

electrical students are facing difficulties in performing board wiring installation. It also loses

the willingness of the students to do their activity even if they want to.

3. The study shows that poor performance in performing board wiring installation can

result in not getting an outstanding grade. Many of the respondents agreed that it can be a

result if poor performance goes on and on in board wiring installation.

Recommendation

The following recommendations are offered based on the findings and conclusion of

the study.

1. The researchers recommend the students to practice electrical wiring and read more about

it to learn techniques and different strategies.

2. The researchers recommend the students to do not give up if they’ve got failed grades

because of poor performance. Instead make it a lesson for them to work hard and to achieve

their dreams.

3. The researchers recommend the students to practice communicating with others when they

needed help. There is nothing wrong with that, it could also practice your communication

skills.

4. The researchers recommend the students to focus more on improving their wiring skills by

watching videos that will help them to improve their skills.

5. The researchers recommend the students to learn from their mistakes. Practice makes

perfect. Do not rush things work hard now and earn them later.
