SUMMARY, CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATION

This chapter presents the summary of findings; the conclusions made and

the recommendations offered.

Summary

The purpose of this study is to determine the Impact of Printed Modular

Distance Learning to the Academic Performance of Selected Senior High

School Students at Pinagbayanan, Pila, Laguna.

It aims to determine the appropriate answer to the following questions: (1)

What is the profile of the students’ respondents in terms of age, gender, and

grade level? (2) Is there a significant relationship between the respondents’

profile to their academic performance? (3) Is there a significant relationship of

student’s academic performance in modular distance learning in terms of their

stress / online game / part-time job / and social media platforms?

Descriptive method was used in this study to gather the necessary data

and information on the Impact of Printed Modular Distance Learning to the

academic Performance of Selected Senior High School Students. Descriptive

research was engaged in this stud for its requirement to describe the sets of

data gathered from the respondents such as age / gender / grade level / stress

/ online game / part-time job / and social media platforms.

The instruments that used in this research was the survey questionnaires

through Google form. The questionnaire was a research-made instrument device

in order to provide information on the Impact of Printed Modular Distance

Learning to the Academic Performance of Selected Senior High School Students

at Pinagbayanan, Pila, Laguna.

Based on the analysed and interpreted data, the researchers found out

the following:

1. Profile of the Respondents

The profile of respondents in terms of age 76.34% of the respondents are

17-19 in age, while 23.66% of the respondents are 20-22 year of age.

Conclusion

Based on the findings on the study, the following conclusions were made.

The respondent’s results on the Impact of Printed Modular Distance

Learning to the Academic Performance of Selected Senior High School Students

at Pinagbayanan, Pila, Laguna, have a significant relationship between the

Impact of Printed Modular Distance Learning and the Academic Performance of

Senior High School Students. Otherwise, the hypothesis is rejected. This

revealed that there is a correlation of the impact of distance learning in modular

with the performance of the students.

Recommendation

Based on the conclusions drawn from the study, the following are

recommended:

1. The researcher recommends the respondents to take enough rest before and

after finishing the modules in order to prevent the tension.

2. The students must coordinate with their teammates or friends for them to have a
