 Current Drug Abuse Situation
According to PDEA, the total number of drug suspects that
were killed in the government’s war against illegal drugs has
reached 6,235 as of Feb. 28 this year.

Real Numbers PH report shows that a total of 331,694 suspects

were arrested in the 229,868 drug war operations commenced
since July 1, or since President Rodrigo Duterte took office.

The PDEA announced that 11,060 barangays (villages) have yet

to be “cleared” of illegal drugs, while only 24,379 of the 42,045
total barangays have been proclaimed “drug-free.”
