OBJECTIVE
to develop and/or increase confidence
in managing the demanding role of
parents strengthen family
communication and relationships
It is a common belief that children naturally
love their parents and vice versa. It is most
natural that parents would do everything to
keep their children and love them, even
beyond the time that they need parenting.
Love of parents is sustained and has remained a strong
value, because of the people’s inherent
love of God. By so teaching their children, of God’s
merciful love and compassion, children grow up in
quiet satisfaction and understanding of their own
responsibility to give back that kind of love to their
parents.
DISCUSSIO
Parents are expected to provide for their children’s N
basic needs. The needs include food, clothing, shelter,
education, and love. Care for their children when they
are sick. Good providers for the family’s necessities.
To teach children behavior that is acceptable to the
family and to the society.
DISCUSSIO
Children who experience higher levels of parental N
involvement and a closer relationship with their
parents are less likely to exhibit behavioral problems
and to engage in risk behaviors. In addition, they tend
to achieve better grades and higher levels of education
and to experience better emotional health.
REFLECTION:
Do I feel love for my parents? Am I happy they are my parents? Am I secure in their own love for
me? Is their love for me allows me to become more free and more fulfilled in my life?

Is love of my parents the same as accepting their faults, or their own weaknesses? Discuss.

What can I do/what else can I do to make my parents see and understand that I love them?

Do you always show your feelings of love to your parents? Was it difficult or easy for you to show
your love for your parents?
