Restaurant in making his first address to the staff Robert stated “as a team
our goal will be to work towards being the best restaurant on the island”.
Using the S.M.A.R.T critea for goal setting evaluate Robert goal for this
business.
Question

• Is this a good goal?

Robert goal for the business is a good goal because being the best means that
the restaurant is self maybe providing exceptional service and great food
quality to customers which may lead to a positive feedback and rating from
customers, a good reputation. Which can attract more people to the
restaurant, and also coming with that the restaurant can get opportunities for
partnership with other businesses and events that can further increase the
business profit.
With he business making profit they can now invest into the business more
and more franchises can be opened across the island or the world for people to
go to.
