EXPERIENCE SHARING EXERCISE

INTRODUCTION
In the rapidly evolving landscape of finance and
technology, the design and development of a financial
website represent a pivotal intersection where innovation
meets user-centric functionality.

I recall my early days of my Project Management

Responsibility in the current organization and have been
assigned to develop a Financial Services website out of
more than 10 other individual websites.

This endeavor requires careful consideration of user

experience, security, and the dynamic nature of financial
services. In this era of interconnectedness and
information accessibility, a thoughtfully crafted financial
website serves as a gateway to a world of financial
solutions, offering users an intuitive and secure platform
to manage, invest, and navigate the complexities of the
financial landscape.
At its core, this quote encourages me to take personal
responsibility to create a website from scratch and
hence started working on UX first then collaborated all
my research to make an impactful mockup, rather than
simply wishing for or demanding others to start on.
GM#1 - BE THE

This Guru Mantra emphasizes a fundamental
characteristic of projects, distinguishing them
from ongoing, routine operations. This idea is
rooted in project management principles and
reflects the unique nature of projects as
GM#2 – ANY temporary endeavors with specific goals and
constraints.
ENDEAVOUR Relating this mantra I started planning,
WHICH IS executing, and closing projects efficiently.

NOT
TEMPORARY
IS NOT A
PROJECT

GM#3 – TEMPORARY
DOES NOT MEAN
SHORT IN DURATION
In the context of projects or endeavors, these words are
often used interchangeably, but this statement emphasizes
that the concept of temporariness is not necessarily tied to
a specific or brief time frame.

I took the all responsibility to expedite the project

completion timeline and delivered the whole project Design
+ Development within 3 months.

GM#4 – A PROJECT IS NOT A
PROJECT, IF IT IS NOT NOVEL
The statement "A project is not a project if it is not novel" emphasizes
the importance of novelty or uniqueness as a defining characteristic of
what qualifies as a project. This notion is rooted in the idea that projects
are distinct from routine operations or ongoing activities because they
involve a one-time, unique set of tasks and objectives.

We took the challenge of collaboration of 10 individual website to come

up with a consolidated one platform to align all the services on one
page.

GM#5 – PROJECT
INVOLVES A "Project involves progressive

PROGRESSIVE elaboration" is a concept in project

management that highlights the
ELABORATION dynamic and evolving nature of project
planning. It suggests that project
details and plans are refined and
expanded upon as the project
progresses and as more information
becomes available.

This approach allows me to adapt the

changes, uncertainties, and new
insights, ultimately contributing to
more effective and responsive project
management.
