Raster (Bitmap) Graphics


By considering the graphics field as
a rectangle shape and separating
the rectangle into some kind of two-
dimensional array of small pixels, a
raster represents an image.

Vector Graphics
SVG seems to be a basic in recent
decades that is entirely separate
from the rendering system
resolution, usually a printer or
display monitor.
