 INTRODUCTION
Model College was established in the year 1989 by Keraleeya Samajam (Regd) Dombivli, a
high profile socio-cultural organisation in the extended suburb of Mumbai. It is a minority
institution permanently affiliated to the University of Mumbai and recognised by University
Grants Commission, New Delhi. The college was accredited with “A” Grade by NAAC for all
the three cycles i.e. 2007-2012, 2014-2019 and 2019-2024. The college was granted
“Autonomous” status by UGC and University of Mumbai in October 2019. The college has
emerged as an institution to reckon with in the field of Commerce-Management and
Science-Technology education.

The college is equipped with the best faculty and facilities to accomplish our goal. We
provide a wide range of Degree and Post Graduate programmes in the field of Arts, Science
and Commerce to suit the diverse needs of the learner.

Step 1 :
Fill the Online pre admission form on University of Mumbai Portal
www.mum.digitaluniversity.ac

Step 2 :
Using the login – id and password you can fill pre admission form for multiple
courses within the same college and across different colleges. (Multiple
forms for multiple courses in multiple colleges)

Step 3 :
Save the forms as PDF file (Both student copy and submission copy).
Name the file appropriately so that you do not mix up the forms of different
courses of different colleges. Continue the procedure….

Step 4 :
Fill the college online pre admission form on college website
www.model-college.edu.in.
The link will be available as per Admission Notice.

Step 5 :
Once you enter your basic details you will be asked to make payment of
Rs.200.
After the payment you will get login id and password. You can apply only to
one course using one login id.
The entire process will have to be repeated for application to different
courses offered by college.

Step 6 :
You will receive login id and password through SMS and the link for
prospectus will also be sent in the same SMS. Read the prospectus carefully
for detailed information of courses, fees structure and cancellation
procedures.

What procedure should I follow to take admission in the college?
Ans. You should follow stepwise procedure as mentioned below:
