• Constancio Canseco De Guzman was born in Guiguinto,


Bulacan on November 11, 1903
• He then grew up in Manila where he also learned piano and
composition under Nicanor Abelardo
• Because of his father, he entered law school but switched to
finish a BS Commerce degree at Jose
Rizal College in 1928.
• After passing the CPA board exam, he started working for
movies.

Musical Directors” and became the music director for movie production
companies like Royal, LVN, Sampaguita, etc.

His unexpected song “Panaginip”, paved the way for him to record
hundreds of songs, principally under Villar and Columbia Records
