What is 5G?
The "G" in 5G stands for the generation of the current technology. 1G was a
cellular service provider. 2G is the first generation that includes digital
cellular technologies. 3G is the improvement if the cellular speeds from
200kbps to megabits per second. 4G is the most current technology and soon
will be outdated. It offers thousands of Mbps and can even up to gigabit level
speeds. On the fifth generation, its the faster, lower latency, higher
responsiveness, and the ability to connect multiple devices simultaneously.
5G will shape future
- 5G compared to 4G, the difference
technology evolution in speeds is expected 20 times
faster. On 5G could achieve GB 20

of 1GB per second.
-This enable the large data to process in the short period of
time and data transferring with the lease latency.
-Low latency means there is a strong and reliable network
connectivity, which reduces the chance for delay and
connection loss.
How 5G improve AI
- 5G will boost the evolution of AI because the 5G has a network
architecture that efficiently supports AI processing. This architecture will
enhance the future of artificial intelligence. With the enhancement of the
speed in connectivity and integration with other technologies, AI
machines can function similarly to the level of humans. Thus, 5G
increases cloud service speed to transfer data faster while AI analyzes and
learns from the same data faster.

- As the 5G network frequently becomes complex and novel uses such as autonomous
cars, virtual reality, e-health, industrial automation, and others emerge, ML (Machine
Learning) will become crucial in obtaining the 5G vision a reality. Similarly, with any new
technology, there are essential potentials to be completed and limitations to overcome.
How will 5G improve
the transportation
5G network technology has a high potential to provide better visibility and
control over the transportation systems. Despite the low latency, high
capacity, and reliability will slightly enhance the over transportation.

5G is Expected to improve this 2 type of wireless

communication.
- 5G network connections will
- Vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V): Vehicles relay signals significantly influence the
directly to each other
development of self-driving cars,
- Vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I): Vehicles
communicate with sensors on bridges, roads and making them faster, smarter, and safer.
traffic lights
Vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V)

- V2V authorizes another level of safety by providing

two moving vehicles to communicate electronically if
other objects obstruct line-of-sight. This capability to
“see around corners” can be an essential safety feature.
- This features include blind-spot detection, lane
change assist and forward collision detection.
Vehicle-to-infrastructure
(V2I)
- Vehicles and road infrastructure communicate
to each other via wireless
- This enables the system to analyze and provide
lane markings, road signs, and traffic lights that
can wirelessly provide information to the
vehicle
5G encourage people to use
public transportation

Self-driving vehicles, along with advanced traffic

management could reduce time wasted in traffic, as well as
improving
the efficiency and convenience of public transport in a
bustling, metropolitan city.
The factors that 5G help benefit for public
transportation
-Improving the flow of traffic
-On-time timetables
Improving the flow of traffic
- The traffic surge could be substantially alleviated in busy city centers with a solid and
reliable 5G network. Traffic signals would vary based on real-time patterns and the
prevailing situation, advised by cameras and sensors.
- The difference will be most generally felt in rush hours, making public transport a more
attractive choice. A streamlined traffic management system will ultimately foster a
reduction in rush hours queues.
On-time timetables
- As 5G becomes more prominent, route-planning technology,
especially for buses and trains, can be significantly enhanced,
giving passengers more faith in the reliability of their chosen
transport. A reduction in more comprehensive wait times and
real-time updates
