What is argumentative writing?
 a type of writing –
that presents a thesis statement and then supports that thesis statement with
evidence.

 Purpose –
to persuade the reader to agree with the writer's point of view.
What is analytical writing?

a type of writing -
that examines a topic or issue in detail and draws conclusions about it.

The goal -
to help the reader understand the topic or issue more deeply.
