Conceptual Framework
• It is the basic structure that serves as a mental
window of the researcher because it depicts the
research design and the relationships of the variables
involved.
• It is a written or visual presentation that explains
either geographically ,or in narrative form , the main
things to be studied, the key factors , concepts or
variables, and the presumed relationship among
them.
Statement of the Problem
• Statement of the problem consists of general and
specific problems.
• General problem is usually the introductory
statement which is based on the research title.
• It is followed by the specific problems which are
normally the variable that can be found on the title or
it can be other factors related to your study that you
want to research.
SCOPE & DELIMITATION
•Delimitation- refers to boundaries of the
research study, arising from the researcher’s
decisions of what to exclude.

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY
• This section creates a perspective for looking
at the problem.
• It points out how your study relate to the
larger issues and uses a persuasive rationale to
justify the reason for your study.
• What benefit/s will occur if your study is done?

• It makes the purpose worth pursuing .
• The significance of the study answers the
questions.
• Why is your study important?
• To whom it is important.

• Title of the study: “ The Surviving Cultural

of a Proposed Program for Cultural
Preservation and Development (Daonis,
2002)”.

Sample Significance of the Study

• The beneficiaries of the study were clearly


the cultural minorities themselves , the
Kankaneys , because the study was designed
to identify their needs and concerns that
pertinent remedies or programs can be done
to improve on their situation .
Definition of Terms

•Definition of terms help the readers to


understand the terminologies used in the
study.
•Operational definition is describing a term
depending on how the researcher apply it in
the present study.
