 Android is a mobile based operating system (os) developed by

google,based on the Linux kernel and designed primarly for
touchscreen mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets.The
android OS is the most common operating system among the mobile
operating system.

 Android’s User interface is based on direct manipulation, using

touch gestures that loosely correspond to real-world action, such as
swaping, tapping and pinching, to manipulate on-the screen objects,
along with a virtual keyboard for text input.
