Project "Sorting

garbage - helping
nature"
Three thousand overflowing landfills and tens of
thousands of illegal dumpsters pose a danger to
nature and people.
The problem of garbage has been facing
humanity, probably, since the time it appeared on
earth, and the more it goes on, the more serious
it becomes.
Waste sorting is a process in which waste is divided
into different groups. Waste sorting can be done
manually in the household using a separate
collection scheme, or separated automatically in
material recovery sites or mechanical biological
treatment systems. Sorting of waste also takes
place at waste processing sites.
Waste is divided into:
- Organic - Metal
- Paper and cardboard - Glass
- Plastic - Hazardous waste
Why is it important to sort garbage?
- Reducing the amount of waste that ends up in
the landfill
- Preservation of natural resources
- Reduction of environmental pollution
So what to
do when you
see someone
littering?
