Heat treated NiTi files

The Biggest Launch

COLTENE has already been a pioneer in Rotary files and a forerunner in
Endodontics, with the addition of GenEndo we can cater to all segments of
dentists with focus being on colleges, Endo and Pedo PGs, Endodontists and
General Practioners.
About the system
GenEndo™ heat- treated nickel titanium rotary files are specially designed to
give quick and predictable results for endodontic treatments.
The system is designed to keep the simplicity of use in mind, with dedicated one
file each for coronal flaring, establishing patency and a smooth glide path,
efficient preparation and shaping of the canal, and a smooth cleaning and
finishing.
The simplest File system in the market now

Coronal Flare (CF)
T-Wire heat treatment results in instruments with better flexibility and cyclic fatigue resistance compared with instruments
manufactured using the traditional austenite NiTi alloy

• Heat-treated T wire File

• Eliminates coronal strains

• Improves access to canal orifices

• Facilitates the safe movement of succeeding

files

• Increased flexibility to prevent lodgment of

the file in the dentinal walls
Coronal Flare (CF)

25/.09
GlidePath File (GPF)

• Ideal for narrow, curved, calcified canals

• Creates a smooth glide path

• Pre-enlarges difficult to access canals

• Asymmetrical cross-section for active removal of debris

• 3 active cutting blades at 3 radii centering to the canal axis

• Variable pitch between each cutting edge to eliminate the

screwing effect
GlidePath File (GPF)

Preparation File (PF)
C. wire heat treatment Controlled memory of NiTi and ability to pre-bend the file for easier access to the root canal and
elimination of constraints

• Heat-treated C wire File

• Single preparation file thanks to triple cutting edges

• Triple helix cutting edge helps in circumferential debris

removal

• Helical angle at the cutting edges prevents screwing of

the file in the canal

• Longer pitch through the length of the file improves

flexibility and strength of the file

• Optimized bigger inner core for excellent resistance to

fracture

Aggressive file, and hence the cutting blades start from the middle of the file length to avoid screwing effect of the file.
Universal Finishing File 1 (UF1)
C. wire heat treatment Controlled memory of NiTi and ability to pre-bend the file for easier access to the root canal and
elimination of constraints

• Heat-treated C wire File

• Single preparation file thanks to triple cutting edges

• Triple helix cutting edge helps in circumferential debris

removal

• Helical angle at the cutting edges prevents screwing of the file

in the canal

• Longer pitch through the length of the file improves flexibility

and strength of the file

• Optimized bigger inner core for excellent resistance to

fracture
Universal Finishing File 1 (UF1)

25/.04
Final Finishing File 2 (FF2)
25/.06
• Asymmetrical cross-section

• Recapitulates the action of UF1 and smoothens the canal walls

• Triple helix cutting edge helps in circumferential debris removal

• Optimal upward removal of canal debris

• Adequate canal preparation ensuring increased apical finishing

Final Finishing File 1 (FF3)

30/.06
• Asymmetrical cross-section

• Recapitulates the action of UF1 & FF2 and smoothes the

canal walls

• Optimal upward removal of canal debris

• The extended helical machining up to the coronal region

enables a continuous bending of the instrument

• Adequate canal preparation ensuring increased apical

finishing
MAJOR COMPETITORS

Protaper
We have combated the competition by offering a better price and have made this system more easy to use,

EdgeEndo
Flexicon is the name with which this system was previously know. Sharp cutting is one of the key features of this product and is
currently popular amongst endodontists.

NeoEndo
It does not stand as our competition, since its is out of market. We need to tap all the customers who have shifted to NeoEndo for the
price factor.
