    Rabindranath Tagore University is located in Bhopal-Chiklod Road, District Raisen, Madhya Pradesh. It was the first private university to introduce compulsory skill courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, with at least 4 skills required over an 8 semester undergraduate program and 2 skills over a 4 semester postgraduate program. Currently there are 51 operational skill courses across different departments, and students can opt to take additional skills. Students will receive a separate skill certificate in addition to their degree certificate. Skill training is aligned with NSQF and certificates will be awarded by the NSDC-Rabindranath Tagore University partnership. Skill academies operate within each department to deliver the skill courses

    SKILLS INITIATIVES
    Skill development is high on the academic agenda of Rabindranath Tagore University. Rabindranath Tagore
    University is the first Private University which has introduced compulsory skill courses at UG and PG level for
    every student. One skill in a semester and at least four skills in 8 semester course and two in four semester
    course are compulsory. Currently there are 51 skills courses operational as per the syllabus in the university by
    different departments students may opt for more number of skills if he desires so. In addition to mark sheet for
    UG & PG student will get a skill certificate also separately. For delivery of skill courses which are aligned with
    NSQF, certificate by NSDC-Rabindranath Tagore University will be awarded. Skill Academies will operate under
    respective departments for skill courses.
