Problem Statement Title: To resolve

the problems that birds cause by
excreting their waste at the windows
with the help of simple and smart toys.
 About problem statement
“How do we get rid of pigeons"
 Pigeon excrete can cause 60 types of
diseases.
 Few of the Diseases associated with
pigeon droppings include
Cryptococcosis, Histoplasmosis and
Psittacosis.
 Newspapers are one way to prevent
birds from sitting on balconies,
however newspapers can fly away,
thus rendering them useless for long
term practicality
Solution
 Solution :We Design a toy that can be clipped on
to a railing which will emit certain sounds and
perform certain actions that will scare away the
bird without harming them.
 Features : Easy to use ( Stripper to attach the toys
on the balcony/railing), Affordable and
Decorative(Will look good on balcony like
decorations)

 The product can be used in average Indian
families as in almost every household, pigeons
excrete and make the window/balcony look dirty.
 Small farmers with small land can also use this
product in order to make the birds fly away.
 Hospitals/Corporate offices can also use this as
birds also transmit various kinds of diseases
Avian Influenza (Bird Flu), Encephalitis Virus
etc.
Prototype Improvisations in future

 We can add speakers in order to create sound to

scare away birds more efficiently.
 We can add sprinklers which will throw water
drops in the direction where the pigeon is sitting
which can also scare away pigeons.
 We can also make a better toy prototype which too
will scare the bird efficiently.
