Checklist
1. Both HarmonyOS and Windows connect to Wi-Fi or wired network and is able to access Internet.

2. The laptop already download and install ‘IdeaShare’ application from https://www.huaweicloud.com

3. The IdeaHub displays the projection code.

4. Please check the model of IdeaHub. If it is not S2, please do not demo BYOM, WIFI Direct Projection, Multi-Window. If it is

B2, please do not demo voice tracking and auto-framing.

5. (Optional) The Windows already installed the meeting software that you want to demonstrate, such as Teams, Zoom, Webex

etc.

6. (Optional) The IdeaShare Key has successfully paired with IdeaHub (if you have IdeaShare Key, please remember to check

this, otherwise please ignore this)

1.Open Whiteboard

Click Whiteboard button to open whiteboard

Set Background

1. Choose Setting 2. Choose whiteboard background (cannot be customized)

IdeaHub S2 provides 16mm writing latency. You

can choose different color and shape of brush
Drag-Select

1. Choose Drag-Select 2. Choose the object you want to operate

Erase

Method 1: Expand your palm to erase content in a large area.

Method 2: Clench your fist to erase content in a small area.

1. Choose setting, enable Smart pen

Save Whiteboard in .cwb format

Save Whiteboard in .pdf format

1. Use a USB flash Driver 2. Click Save, open the dialog box

3. Choose USB 4. Choose PDF and save

 Send Whiteboard Content to Email

Note:
choose Settings > Advanced > System > Mail.
After the email address is configured, you can transfer whiteboard files by sending
emails.

1. Open IdeaShare app on your laptop, enter the first letter displayed on
IdeaHub screen. The remaining letters will be automatically filled. Select

the correct projection code.

Meetings
Voice Tracking (only for IdeaHub S2)
Please enable Voice Tracking function at first. On the homepage of IdeaHub S2, Choose Settings > Camera > Intelligent tracking >
Voice Tracking to enable the Voice Tracking function. How to test:
This function needs at least 2 people in front of IdeaHub.
Double Click the video panel at the bottom.
People A starts to talk for at least 3 seconds, the camera will zoom in to people A’s face. Then people A stops talking, people B
starts to
talk for at least 3 seconds, the camera will zoom to people B’s face.
Both Harmony and windows’ meeting support this function.

AutoFrame (only for IdeaHub S2)

Please enable Auto-Framing function at first. On the homepage of IdeaHub S2, Choose Settings > Camera > Intelligent
tracking >
Auto-Framing to enable the AutoFrame function. How to test: Double Click the video panel at the bottom.
Firstly, two people stand in front of IdeaHub, IdeaHub will show two people’s video. Then one people leave, IdeaHub will
automatically adjust the view of video based on rest people’s location.
Both Harmony and windows’ meeting support this function.
