Vimeo was founded in 2004 by Zach Klein and Jake Lodwick. The initial idea

workshop. Klein was working on a blog and needed a place to upload videos. So Lodwick and Klein
created Vimeo, a site where videos could be uploaded and shared. As I mentioned, the creators of
Vimeo were Jakob Lodwick and Zach Klein. However in 2006, the company was acquired by a
company called Connected Ventures, which was founded by well-known entrepreneur Keith Rabois
