INTRODUCTION

For collection is the process of collection water form

fog

where traditional water sources are scarce but fog is

frequent there fog collector can fulfill the demand of
water.

Like the ground water it doesn’t need any treatment

for purification
OBJECTIVES

• To design and fabricate a fog collectors with appropriate mesh material.

• To evaluate the performance of fog collectors

• To compare the efficiency and water collection rate of the fog collector at
different location and different frame orientation

 The fog collector exhibited a higher efficiency and average water collection rate when deployed in a vertical orientation
compared to a horizontal orientation.

 And the fog collector collect more water in higher elevation

CONCLUSION
Reason for advantage on vertical frame over horizontal frame

When the frame is positioned vertically

The mesh threads also become vertical

This allows water droplets that condense on the mesh to utilize gravity

The droplets can easily roll down using the vertical threads

Reason for fog collector advantage over elevation

Increased Fog Density

Higher Wind Speeds
