ABSTRACT
• The "Arduino Bluetooth Controlled Wireless Door Lock" project presents a secure and
easily accessible Internet of Things (IoT) solution to improve door security.
• This project introduces an Arduino Bluetooth-controlled wireless door lock system, which
provides a modern and secure method to access management.
• Using Arduino and Bluetooth technology, the device enables users to remotely handle
door locking mechanisms via a dedicated mobile application.
• The system is designed to be inexpensive, making it an excellent introduction to IoT and
Arduino-based applications.
• The abstract describes the project's main goals, Nowadays the home security system is
very poor. This project is consists of a smart door lock system in this we developed on a
great solution to improve the home safety system.
INTRODUCTION
• IoT is a concept that describes a future in which common objects connect to the Internet,
identify themselves, and communicate with other devices.
• Today, everyone is gradually going toward a futuristic world in which everything is controlled
by our fingertips. At the same time, individuals are increasingly concerned about their privacy
and the security of these futuristic technology. A person's security starts at home. We must
have a good security system in our home.
• Have you ever wished for a way to unlock your door using your phone?
• Well, that's exactly what this project is all about! We're introducing a cool and modern system
that lets you control your door lock wirelessly using your smartphone. Your door can be
unlocked with only a tap of your phone, eliminating the need to search for your keys.
• The door can be opened and closed only by this android application. When a user successfully
logins to the android application, Bluetooth connection between the Arduino door lock and the
mobile phone is established.
• This modern solution enhances accessibility and security while maintaining user-friendly
operation.
• Let us go into the world of Bluetooth and Arduino to enhance the intelligence and convenience
of our doors.
Problem Statement
• Generally, traditional locks are heavy and delicate as they can easily be damaged. Misplaced
keys can allow intruders to gain access to a home without the owner's consent.

• Using keys to unlock doors can be challenging at times, and sharing access with others is not
always easy. We want to find a better way to make our doors open with just our phones.

• Imagine if you could unlock your door with a tap on your phone – no keys needed! That's
the problem we're trying to solve – making doors easier to open and share with friends or
family.
SOLUTION

• We have a great concept to simplify door opening! We're going to use our phones to
unlock doors.

• We're going to use a tiny computer called Arduino to help your door understand what
your phone wants. It's like a smart friend for your door.

• Your phone and the door will talk to each other through Bluetooth, like sending secret
messages.

• We're making doors smarter, so you don't need keys – just your phone and a simple tap,
and the door will happily let you in!.

MATERIALS REQUIRED

Part of List
 Electrics Lock
 Arduino Uno
 Arduino Bluetooth Module
 Relay 5v
 18650 Battery
 Battery Holder
 Jumper Cable
Arduino Uno
In this project, the Arduino microcontroller is used
to monitor and code all of the hardware, and it is
processes commands received from the mobile
application and controls the relay module.

Arduino Bluetooth Module

It is used to connects wirelessly to the user's smartphone.
The HC-05 or HC-06 is a Bluetooth SPP module designed
to connect two microcontrollers or devices. In this
project, the Bluetooth Module "HC-05" is utilized to link
Android devices to Arduino.
Electrics Lock
Physical locking/unlocking component controlled by the
relay module.

Jumper Cable
A jump wire is an electrical wire or group of them in a
cable , with a connector or pin at each end which is
normally used to interconnect the components of a
breadboard or other prototype or test circuit ,
internally or with other equipment or components,
without soldering .
Battery Holder:
Provides power to the Arduino, Bluetooth module,
relay module, and other components. Ensure it's
suitable for your specific needs.

5V Single Channel Relay:

Acts as a switch to control the physical locking
mechanism of the door. It helps the Arduino control
high-power devices like a solenoid or servo motor. In
this LED lights indicates the status of the relay.
CONCLUSION AND FUTURE ENHANCEMENT
Future Enhancement
• Biometric Authentication: Use fingerprint or facial recognition to increase security.
• Mobile App Features: Expand the mobile application to include user management, and notifications.
• Voice Control: Implement voice-activated commands for hands-free operation.

Conclusion

In this project, a Bluetooth-enabled smart door lock is employed for home security. So, there you have it , a
smart and simple way to unlock doors with just a tap on your phone! We were able to make our doors listen to
our phones and open without the need for keys by using Arduino and Bluetooth. It's like having a magic key
on your phone that works every time. With this cool setup, we've made doors easier to open.
Makes life a little bit simpler!!!
