GREEN SKILLS

Renewable Energy
 Renewable energy flows involve natural phenomena such as sunlight, wind,
tides, plant growth, and geothermal heat, as the International Energy Agency
explains: Renewable energy is derived from natural processes that are
replenished constantly.
Energy Efficiency
 Energy efficiency means using less energy to get the same job done – and in
the process, cutting energy bills and reducing pollution. Many products,
homes, and buildings use more energy than they actually need, through
inefficiencies and energy waste.
Waste Management

 A waste management system is a streamlined process that organizations use

to dispose of, reduce, reuse, and prevent waste. Also known as waste
disposal, it is an approach where companies implement comprehensive
strategies to efficiently manage wastes from their origin until their final
disposal.
Water Conservation

 Water conservation is the practice of using water efficiently to reduce

unnecessary water usage. According to Fresh Water Watch, water
conservation is important because fresh clean water is a limited resource, as
well as a costly one.
Sustainable Agriculture

 Sustainable agriculture is farming in such a way to protect the environment,

aid and expand natural resources and to make the best use of nonrenewable
resources.
