Declarative Sentences

Declarative sentences make a statement or express an opinion. They are


punctuated with a period.

Interrogative Sentences

Imperative sentences give commands, instructions, or requests. They usually end with a period.

Complex Sentences

Complex sentences contain one independent clause and at least one dependent clause.
They express intricate relationships between ideas.
