2. Passing: Once the ball is served, the receiving team has three contacts (usually
pass, set, spike) to send the ball back over the net.
3. Rotation: Players rotate positions on the court after each point is scored,

4. Blocking: Players at the net can jump and attempt to block the opponent's
attack.
5. Libero: In addition to the six players on the court, a team may have a libero, a
specialized defensive player who wears a different-colored jersey and has certain
restrictions and advantages.

setting up the attackers by delivering
accurate passes (sets) to them.
