1. Farmers may lose money
2. People might have to pay more food
3. Water companies may have to
spend money on new or additional
water supplies.
C. ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS
1. Losses or destruction of fish and
wildlife habitat.
2. Lack of food and drinking water
for wild animals

3. Increase in disease in wild animals


D. CONCLUSION
- The many different effects are
often grouped as “Social”,
“Economic”, and “Environmental”
impacts.
- All of these effects must be considered in
planning for and responding to water
resource conditions.
