THE ART OF PUBLIC PRESENTATION

 Most of us regularly have to make speeches in front of some audience

or another.
We seek the goodwill of our listeners, try to please them,
encourage them to do what we need: to agree with our opinion,
to make the right decision...

A successful speech cabut besides this, it should bring pleasure to

both the audience and the speaker himself.
 change the fate of a particular project or the course of history,
HOW TO DEAL WITH ANXIETY ??

 Experts confirm: our success with those sitting in the hall depends 60% on how we look,
30% on how we speak, and only 10% on what we say.

First, let's figure out what anxiety is.

This is just a complex of biochemical reactions that leads to the release of adrenaline into the blood.
What does adrenaline do?
Improves reaction, blood supply (including to the cerebral cortex),
leads to the appearance of shine in the eyes (moisturizing the mucous membranes),
blush on the cheeks. Yes, this is exactly what a brilliant speaker needs to make a lasting impression!
This is the energy that is transmitted to listeners and makes them fidget in their seats and jump up at the moment
of greatest intensity.
Adrenaline is our ally, dear speakers!
Exercises to at least survive until the start of the performance:

 Move your jaw back and forth intensively about twenty times. As a result of such movements, the roots of the
vagus nerve are irritated, the signal is transmitted to the central nervous system, norepinephrine is released and
your condition is balanced.

 As you sit waiting for your exit to be announced, lower your arms and relax them.
Imagine that they have become so long that they rested on the floor...
Now direct the tension that you experience through your hands into the ground. Feel it go away.

 Breathe slowly and deeply. This is the breath of a calm person. When we are worried, we breathe shallowly and
quickly. Our state is determined by breathing. And vice versa.
“Creative delivery doesn’t just work in marketing or sales. At
one of the conferences,
in which the Prime Minister of Russia, the regional governor and
ministers took part,
the director of the company made a brilliant presentation,
which was then talked about and discussed for a very long time
at the highest level.
This was a great way to attract the attention of the meeting
participants to the topic that the speaker was talking about,”
says internal communications manager
 If the audience is making a decision right at the time of your speech and will not be able to change anything in
case of a mistake, press on emotions. If the audience is supposed to make a decision based on common sense, you
must give the audience enough facts and arguments.

Fix in the mind of the audience after each stage of your speech. How? Ask a question to see if everything is clear.
Pause for a moment. Move to another spot on the stage. Flip a sheet on the flip chart.

Change the slide. Summarize the interim results. Say, "Thus..." and, of course, something after that. Invite
questions about this section. In this way, your lengthy presentation will consist of several short ones.
This is very well perceived by the audience, easy to memorize, allows you to follow the logic.

In conclusion, the whole secret of public speaking success is to talk to people, not to speak in front of them!
