What is a mouse like?

• The body of mice measures less than 10 centimeters in length.


• Mice are small and rounded, with a small head with a pointed face
with long whiskers, small rounded ears, and round eyes.
• The tail is long, thin and scaly, with very little hair, useful for
maintaining balance.
• The hind legs are larger than the front legs, but all have short
claws.
• Mice's fur is short, soft and usually brown, but depending on the
species it can be dark brown, black, white and gray, among other
colors.
Where does a mouse live?
• They can live almost anywhere in the world except in those regions
with extreme climates, such as Antarctica and the coldest areas near
the North Pole.
• Now it lives practically everywhere with a human population.
Mouse feeding
They can feed on almost anything they find in a house, be it fresh food
or waste, as well as some insects and invertebrates such as caterpillars,
cockroaches, larvae and even carrion.

They are cannibals, they can eat other mice


Mouse threats Domestic cats, foxes, snakes, birds of prey, wild dogs,
weasels, ferrets, mongooses and lizards.
What special adaptations does it have so it can survive?

They are very adaptable creatures, so in general they can live almost
anywhere in the world.
