GROUP-
A group is a collection of individuals who come together for a common purpose,
share a sense of identity, and interact with each other over a period of time.

A group can be defined as two or more interacting and interdependent


individuals who come together to achieve particular objectives. A group
behavior can be stated as a course of action a group takes as a family.
Types of Groups-
1) FORMAL GROUPS

2) INFORMAL GROUPS
Formal Groups
Formal groups are intentionally created within an organization to accomplish
specific tasks or objectives. They are established based on organizational
structure and hierarchy.

Informal Groups
Informal groups emerge naturally among individuals who share common
interests, goals, or social relationships. They develop outside the formal
organizational structure.
Stages of Group Formation
