 Inquire where they go and how they regard their treatment and
their results

 It is not suggested that for an individual with a pacemaker

certification with NCCAOM and verify if they are required to be

 Research and read reviews for therapists in the area

 Check if health insurance covers it, if it is a referral from a


primary care physician or a physical therapist it may be

 Do not eat prior to a session

 Inform the therapist if the pressure is too much and of any


injuries to be careful near

 Drink plenty of water afterwards

 Distractions happen, set a time and find a place
that works with your schedule

 If you cannot focus a guided meditation may be


very helpful and there are plenty of options with
soothing voiceovers and different background
sounds like waves or rain on youtube

 CALM is an app that provides a guided version


but has a 1 week free trial
