INTRODUCTION :-
 Havells India Limited is an Indian multinational electrical equipment company.
 Havells started by Late Sh.Qimat Rai Gupta in 1958.
 It’s headquarter is situated in Noida ,India.
 This company manufactures home appliances, lighting for domestic,
commercial and industrial applications, LED lighting, fans, modular switches
and wiring accessories, water heaters, industrial and domestic cable wires,
induction motors, and capacitors among others.
 It’s network constitutes of 4000 professionals, over 14000 plus dealers and 35
branches in the country.
 The company has 14 state manufacturing plants in India located at Haridwar,
Baddi , Sahibabad, Faridabad, Alwar, Neemrana and Ghiloth.
 It owns some of the most prestigious brands like Havells, Crabtree, Lloyd, Reo,
Standard Electric and Promptech.
ABOUT FOUNDER - QIMAT RAI
GUPTA :-
 Qimat Rai Gupta (also known as QRG) was an Indian
entrepreneur, founder, former chairman and managing director
of Havells, a global electrical company.
 Gupta was born in 1937 in Malerkotla, Punjab.
 In 1958, he quit his studies in Punjab and moved to New Delhi,
where he started an electrical trading shop called Guptaji &
Company in Bhagirath Place, an electrical wholesale market in
Delhi, with a capital of Rs. 10,000.
 In 1971, Gupta purchased existing company Havells brand name
from Haveli Ram Gandhi for Rs. 700,000.
 Today his listed Havells sells wide range of electrical equipment .
Ventured overseas in 2007; acquired Germany’s Sylvania Lighting.
Expanding footprint in Africa, Latin America, Asia.
