Introduction

E-ball technology is a tiny computer in the shape of a sphere. It is one of

the smallest designs that have been made for laptops and desktops. These
are futuristic designs. This design for E-ball Technology was proposed by
Apostol Tnokovski (Macedonia based Product Designer). It is the smallest
PC design that has ever been made. It has a sphere-shaped design, as it is
one of the most attractive designs according to Apostal Tnokovski .
Evolution
Analog computers- Analog Computers used a mechanical and
electrical equivalent of the problems to be computed. They were
non-programmable and lacked versatility. These were used
widely in the first half of the 20th century and were quite famous
until the 1950s.
Digital computers- Digital computers were electro-mechanical
versions of the analog computer. in 1914 the programmable
version of the computer was developed which was
electromechanical. It was called digital computers. It used binary
numbers for computation work. The input was given using a
keyboard.
Modern computers- The concept of Modern computers was
established by a person called Alan Turing. He proposed a
“Universal Computing Machine” in his paper. The concept used
instructions that were originally stored in computer memory.
They could work as efficiently as the Universal Turing Machine.
Mobile computers- Mobile computers earlier used were heavy
and needed to be plugged in the mains of the power supply. The
size reduced in the years, and we can have computers of the size of
a palm nowadays (smartphones and tablets). These are powered by
chips that have computing mechanism. These are very small chips
that are called the System on a chip.
E-ball computers-The computer design has ever since been
changing and becoming smaller and more compatible. The
rectangle-shaped computer monitor and keyboard have forever
been the standard. The designer of E-ball made a wonderful
exception to the rule by inventing the E-ball technology. He firmly
believes that the sphere is nature’s most attractive shape. This is
the prime thought behind building such a compact computer in the
shape of a sphere with all the features of a traditionally shaped
computer.

Elements Of E-ball
Technology
 The body of the eyeball has aluminum as
well as plastic parts. It is the smallest among
all the designs developed so far, having
120×120 millimeters of the motherboard that
is 6 inches in diameter.
 The E-ball has all the features of standard
personal computers like a mouse, keyboard,
display, etc.
 First, to operate the E-ball, we need to press
a button so that stand is opened on which the
sphere E-ball will rest.
 It does not have a physical monitor, rather it
has a projected projector that can be used as a
screen if used against a wall.
 In case there is an absence of a wall, a sheet
of paper can be used instead.
It has a virtual laser keyboard. It is projected on a flat surface. It understands the
fingers with the help of infrared sensors.

E-ball Technology supports the Windows operating system.

The keyboard and mouse can be used to give input to the E-ball, whereas the
holographic display and speakers would give output.

The storage is settled as the hard disk is present and the network cards are present
for any networking needs.
Office work: The E-ball can be used to make presentations, word, and other
office-related documents.

Watching movies: The E-ball has a holographic display that can be used for
watching movies at the comfort of homes or any place that has a flat surface.

Video conferencing: The webcam is a perfect use for office meetings and
Applications conferences.

Listening to songs: The speakers are bliss for listening to songs.

Presentations: can also be given using the display system.

Advantages

against theft.
Disadvantages

IT WORKS ONLY WITH IT HAS A VERY HIGH 3. ANY HARDWARE 4. IT WOULD NEED NEW

Future Scope

The E-ball PC, a compact and versatile computing concept, holds promise for diverse
applications in high-tech, consumer electronics, and healthcare. With its small size and
adaptability to smartphones, it reflects a future trend of miniaturization. While currently a
proposal, it suggests a transformative shift towards smaller, powerful, and integrated
computing devices, shaping the future of technology.
Conclusion

As years passes, the computer size is becoming smaller. Todays technology is

at its peak point beyond what we could ever imagine. New inventions and
innovations are emerging on daily basis. Our imaginations have dressed into
reality and today it has become possible to have a whole computer in our
pocket all the time. This ball computer has taken the computer technology to
new horizons.
