Signal overview

Digital communication
• Achieved by voltage which is rendered as dominant and recessive ”bits”
• A bit is either a 0 (zero) or 1 (one)
• A combination of multiple bits creates a digital message
– can be interpreted by a computer
– contains instructions for the computer
• The combination of these bits are called ”binary code”, and is the only code a computer can
understand

IF pin 1 has power
