1. SYNOPSIS
• The Three-Level Image Authentication System is designed to enhance website security by
employing image-based authentication mechanisms in place of traditional text passwords. This
system aims to provide users with a more secure and user-friendly method of authentication,
reducing the risk of unauthorized access and password breaches. The authentication process
involves three levels of image-based challenges that users must pass to gain access to the website.
Each level presents a different set of images and requires the user to perform specific actions or
identify predetermined patterns within the images. These challenges are designed to be diffi cult
for automated bots to solve, thereby enhancing security against brute force attacks and
unauthorized entry.
• The first level may involve selecting specific images from a grid of random images, while the second
level may require users to recognize and match images based on certain criteria or characteristics.
The final level could include more complex tasks such as image rotation or distortion recognition.
By integrating image-based authentication, this system aims to provide a robust and intuitive
method for users to secure their accounts, mitigating the vulnerabilities associated with traditional
text-based passwords. This project seeks to contribute to the advancement of online security
practices and improve the overall user experience in accessing web-based services.

3. SYSTEM ANALYSIS

• 3.1 Existing System: Right now, most websites use passwords made of letters and numbers
for security. These passwords can be easily guessed or hacked, making accounts vulnerable to
attacks.
• 3.2 Proposed System: Our idea is to use pictures instead of just letters and numbers for
passwords. Users will face three levels of picture challenges when logging in. These challenges
will get harder as they go. Users might have to pick certain pictures from a bunch or recognize
patterns in images. This makes it much tougher for hackers to crack passwords because
pictures are harder to guess or break. It also makes logging in easier and safer for everyone.
We believe this system will make websites more secure and user-friendly.
4. SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

• A three-level password authentication system typically involves three Levels of user

verification to access a system or resource. Each level Provides a different degree of
security, and users must pass through Each level to gain access. This type of system is
often used to protect Sensitive information or resources.

6. CONCLUSION:

• In conclusion, a three-level password authentication system is a Powerful and

versatile approach to enhancing security and Protecting sensitive resources, data, and
systems. By combining Knowledge-based, possessionbased, and biometric
Authentication, this multi-layered system offers several key Advantages, including
heightened security, protection against various types of attacks, adaptability to diverse
security needs, and granular access control.
