Chapter 46 47 and 48
 CHAPTER 46-THE SEARCH BEGINS
• During this time Raama had a huge army under his control.
• Raama said to Sugreeva to find out Seeta and find where Raaavana's hideout and kill him.
• Sugreeva then ordered his cammanders to divide and search for Seeta in the four quarters of
the world.
• Sugreeva called Hunumaan and said that he only had the courage and intelligence to find
seeta.
• Raama gave his ring to Hanumaan for seeta to know that Hanumaan was a messenger of
Raama.
• The army divided into four and went in the four directions to find seeta.

• The army which was going to north was led by Satabali,the army which was going east was
led by Vinata,the army which was going west was led by Sushena,Hanumaan,Angad and
General Taara travelled south
• All were equally enthusiastaic and eager to kill raavana and rescue seeta.
• After a month all the vaaranas except the vaaranas who went south came to Sugreeva.
• They replied that they did not find seeta.
• The vaaranas who went south exceeded the time period.
• They were scared that if they go without seeta,exceeding the time period,they will surely be
killed by sugreeva.

• So they decided to die before sugreeva finds them out.
• A vulture named sampaati,who was the king of vultures,was watching them die
• Sampaati lost his wings when he had to save his brother,who had a heroic death whle
fighting Raavana,and fell to a hill.
• He did not eat for long time.
• The vaaranas recollected their past and said it to themselves.
• Hearing their story,sampaati decided to help them.
• Sampaati may be old but his eyed did lose its keenness.
• He could see very far thins easily

• Sampaati thought of having a easy meal,but the decided to help them.
• The finally found seeta in lanka and said it to the varanas.
• The vaaranas will not belive untill they saw it in their own eyes.
• So they decided to go to lanka.
 CHAPYER 47-SON OF VAAYU
• When they were near to lanka,they had to cross a sea.
• Agada asked everyone that how far they can jump.
• The yuvaraja said he cold cross but he was not sure is he had strength for a return journey.
• Anada did not want the yuvaraja to take risk.
• The aged Jaambavaan praised hanumaan and remainded of his strength.
• Hanumaan then decided to fly over the sea.
• While he was lying he encountered a gaint hill which said him to enter his mouth.
• Hanumaan got very big ,entered his mouth and got very small and quickly exited.
 CHAPTER 47-THE SUN OF VAAYU
• When Hanumaan was crossing the sea he again encountered a gaint sea monster which also
said him to go into his mouth.
• Hanumaan then entered his mouth and bursted out.
• Then finally entered lanka.
• He was amazed by seeing the wealth of Raavana.
 CHAPTER 48-THE SEARCH IN LANKA
• The wealth of Raavana nearly distracted Hanumaan from hid destiny.
• Then Hanumaan went through the front door.
• The guard pushed him out.
• The guardknwe that the end ok lanka was near.
• Then hanumaan climbed the wall and entered the city.
• The streets were having beautyful lowers and the city was well fortified.
• Then he went into all the places except the ashoka park and the palace.
• Then Hanumaan went into the palace and searched for seeta.
• He looked all the places in the palace,but seeta was not found.
 CHAPTER 48-THE SEARCH IN LANKA
• Then Hanumaan decided to go into the park.
