Apa Itu Hemodialisis ?
1. Hemodialisis berasal dari kata “hemo” artinya
darah, dan “dialisis ” artinya pemisahan zat-
zat terlarut
2. Hemodialisis berarti Suatu proses mekanik dengan
menggunakan mesin dan menggunakan ginjal
buatan/dialiser untuk menggantikan fungsi ginjal,
yaitu :
a. Membersihkan darah dengan membuang sampah
hasil metabolisme
b. Membuang kelebihan cairan
c. Membantu pengaturan keseimbangan elektrolit
(kalium, natrium), dan asam basa
