The picker is required to offer the same item with minimal differences.

For example, replacing Lebanese Apples with Indian Apples or a Pack of Two instead of a single item.

Stage 2: Derivative of Original Item (Tomato Sauce for
Tomato)
This is the second thought process. It is only required if stage 1 is unachievable.

The picker is required to offer an immediate deviation of the main item.

For example, replacing Tomatoes with Tomato Paste or a Chicken Breast with Chicken Thighs.

Stage 3: Follow the Theme (Offer items that goes with the mood of the
order)
This is the third thought process. It is only required if stages 1 & 2 are unachievable.

The picker is required to offer replacement items that fit the mood of the order.
In this case, the category remains the same.

For example, replacing Apples (fruits) with Pears (also fruits) or a Lotus (biscuits) with Oreos (also biscuits).

Stage 4: Go fishing (Select a random item)

This is the fourth and last resort of the thought process. It is only required if stages 1, 2, & 3 are unachievable.

The picker is required to offer random replacement items.

In this case the function of the item changes and the category might or might not remain the same.
