• Tree Nurseries established at all sites across our area of operations .

• Talent Management programme, supporting further studies for high


potential candidates
• Regular employee engagement from management on all levels at mine
sites
• Third party insurance, and covering 89% of health insurance scheme
(RAMA/Mituelle de Sante) for employees
• Providing support through mobilization for the initiation of
cooperatives that will benefit the community at large.
• Creating more inclusive work environment for female employees (RML
Women’s Association, ECD,iperu and hygiene facilities)
• Partnership with Universities for internships across all departments and
not just mining
• Construction of a house for vulnerable women.

Community Projects Update
• Community Projects focus on Social and Economic impact:
• Contribution towards Health Insurance for vulnerable people in
nyamyumba sector.
• Early Childhood Development (ECD) that is increasing number of
children's that gets supports through nutritional basic needs .
• Water supply that will discharge out and reach to the majority of the
community that will be called rutongo water supply main stream.
• Agriculture and Livestock (creating economic alternatives for
the community .
• Tree nurseries to provide eatable fruits that will benefit the
community .

Continuing engagement with various stakeholder relationships :
• Courtesy engagement that was mainly to educate the community the negative impact of practicing un authorized mining.
• Meeting with parents that have children at ECD to find futher ways to develop ECD through creation of safety environment.
• Local and regional government relationships
• REWU – Mine Workers Union engagement
• Cerebration of labour day at Rutongo and opening of trinity at Rutongo
