PROGRAMME GOAL AND
OBJECTIVE
Programme Goal: “To reduce smallholder
farmers’ vulnerability to food insecurity, to
climate change effects and to the vagaries of the
market”.

Project Development Objective: “To organize and


empower smallholder farmers so that they
sustainably enhance their production levels to
such a degree that they can provide for their
household nutritional demands and deliver
produce to viable markets”.

Aligned to Malawi 2063 Vision: Pillar 1 -


Agricultural Productivity and Commercialization:

“We shall have an optimally productive and
