What are they?
• The Idaho Core Teacher Standards is a set of 10 standards from the state of Idaho
expects all of their very qualified teachers to possess. The 10 standards outline the
basic skills that are needed to be a effective and successful educator in Idaho.
• All standards are formed from the Interstate New Teacher Assessment and support
Consortium model.
• All teachers (especially new ones) are expected to be able to perform that they
