Rules to remember!
✗ Follow the procedures to determine if you need to use whose in
the adjective clause:
✗ Which word does the adjective clause describe? Put the adjective
clause after it.
✗ Is there any word in the adjective clause that means the word it
describes? Take it out.
✗ If the word you take out is a possessive adjective (my, your, his,
her, our, their, its) or a name with a possessive s, use whose.

NOTE!
✗ Don't confuse “whose” with “who is”. They are
completely different and in the contracted form of
“Who is” – “who’s” sounds like “whose”.

✗ That's the boy whose parents you met.


✗ That’s the boy who’s in my math class.
