Conclusion
Once again, America
mirrors Great Britain…
Argument
My reasoning for choosing this specific topic is that I am
very passionate about the fight for equality and Its history
and that includes, of course, the witch hunts and the
consequences that followed them. Through this document, I
hope to make the stories of innocent women burnt at stake
and hanged known, as well as to motivate you, and as many
people as possible, to join the feminist movement.
You have opinions?! Then you
must be a witch!

Feminists we’re born from the
ashes of the past
Wild embers
We are the descendants
of the wild women you forgot.
We are the stories you thought
Would never be taught.
They should have checked the ashes
of the women they burned alive.
Because it takes a single wild ember
To bring a whole wildfire to life.
(Nikita Grill)
III. 1 What it means to be
a feminist
Quite simply, feminism is about all genders having
equal rights and opportunities. It's about
respecting diverse women’s experiences,
identities, knowledge and strengths, and striving
to empower all women to realize their full
rights. (IWDA organization)
III. 2 The feminist movement
The feminist movement is thought to have come in
waves and in the United States of America some of
them were the Suffragette Movement of 1848 and
the Women’s liberation movement. At first, only
white, rich women fought for their rights but as
time went on, feminists started fighting for equality
in general, no matter one’s background. They had
realized that this fight was an everybody’s fight.
WHAT IS THIS TOPIC ABOUT?
The descendants of witches realized that if they wanted their voices to be heard, they had to
fight tooth and nail for it, and they had to do it together. They were aware that they might
never see the day that what they were fighting for will be achieved. And yet they still
fought.
Women had marched and fought, had won and lost, again and again and again and would
continue to do so for how long it will take to undo hundreds of years of unfair
treatment. One thing is for certain though: the fight for equality is far from being over, and it
will only come to an end faster if you join in.
