STRESS MANAGEMENT

SOURCES OF STRESS
1. Issues we encounter at work: e.g.
alleged theft, alleged extortion, and
alleged discourtesy in the course of
their duties committed by Security
Screening Officers;

2. Workload piling up due to frequent


commission of offenses by Security
Screening Officers;
SOURCES OF STRESS
3. Numerous cases and reading materials to be studied in law school;
4. Family issues; and
5. Self.
SYMPTOMS AND CONSEQUENCES
1. Anxiousness - because of the above-mentioned sources of stress, I became
worried on some other things, like the deadline in submitting Fact-Finding
Investigation Report, or whether or not I will finish all my works and readings.
2. Overthinking - in relation to anxiousness, I tend to overthink that I will not be
able to finish all the tasks I have.
3. Physical disorder - when I am suffering from stress, it will also follow that I
will agonize in pain due to migrain, etc.
4. Irritative; and
5. Becoming withdrawn.
STRESS MANAGEMENT TACTICS
1. Praying;
2. Singing;
3. Seeking medical help;
4. Seeking support from family;
5. Seeking support from friends; friends at work, friends at school, and friend
outside work and school;
6. Playing sports like basketball;
7. Traveling;
8. Watching Netflix; and
9. Believing in myself
RESULT OF PERFORMING
STRESS MANAGEMENT TACTICS

By performing some, if not all, of the aforementioned stress


management tactics, the stress that I feel lessens. We cannot eradicate
stress unless the elimination of its sources is possible. For as long as
we have stress management tactics and those are applicable to us, we
can conquer stress
