ACTION BUTTONS

Action buttons are built-in shapes you can add to a


presentation and set to link to another slide, play a
sound, or perform a similar action. When someone
clicks or hovers over the button, the selected action
will occur. Action buttons can do many of the same
things as links
On the Insert tab, select Shapes, and then, under Action
Buttons at the bottom of the menu, click the button shape that
you want to add. On the slide canvas, click drag to draw the
shape for the button.
OPTIONS:
1. Hyperlink to – this option
is used to link a slide to a
specific slide in a
presentation, other
presentations and file to
another location or
folder.
OPTIONS:
2. Run Program – this option
is used to link a slide to any
executable file or running file.
File of this type will
automatically be opened
during the slide show.
OPTIONS:
3. Play sound- this option
allows the user to choose a
sound to be played during the
slide show.
4. Mouse click- jumps to the link by clicking on the hyperlink
button

5. Mouse Over- jumps the link by just pointing on the


hyperlink
