Load Based Rectifier Shutdown (LBRS)
• Many systems are provisioned for a future load increase or
for very large batteries and small loads
• Actual load current is low, causing low overall efficiency:

Load Based Rectifier Shutdown (LBRS)
• Progressively turn off rectifiers
