AIM AND OBJECTIVES
3. Analytical source- Basic analytical study as per “Ayurvedic pharmacopoeia of India” will
be carried out in an approved laboratory.
METHODS
A) PREPARATION OF TALAKODAYA MALAHAR:
1. Siktha taila will be prepared according to Rasatarangini.
2. Shodhan of Parad ,Gandhaka, Hartala, Manashila, Gairika,will be carried out according to
Rasatarangini.
3. Grahya sindoor will be obtained from authentic source.
4. To prepare the Haritiki Churna and Khadir Churna.
Take 30 part Siktha taila, Hartala 2 part, kajjali of Parad and Gandhak, Haritiki
churna , Khadira churna, Gairika, Sindoor 1-1 part , Manashila half part. Then All ingredients Will
be properly mixed in khalva yantra and store in glass jar.
B)PREPARATION OF TALAKODAYA CREAM
Ingredients- 1. Talakodaya Malahar – 5Part
2. Shea Butter - 1part
3. EDTA -0.5gm
Method- Talakodaya Malahar and Shea Butter will be taken in the ratio
5:I respectively. Talakodaya malahar in a vessel will be heated over a large
vessel containing water under mild fire . Shea Butter will be added to it and
shea butter will be allowed to melt completely. Next, the EDTA will be
added to this. The obtained product wll be stored in glass jar.
