Bank of Baroda founded by Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad in 1908 in Baroda. It is an organization based on private capital, princely patronage and state ownership. At present is an epitome of enterprise and corporate governance, situated in Mumbai. Brand Ambassador of BoB is Rahul Dravid. The new logo of the bank comprises dual B alphabet holding the sun rays .It is referred as the Baroda Sun

The general product and services offered by the Bank of Baroda are :PERSONAL deposits, Gen-Next Services, retail loans, credit cards, debit cards , Baroda Health, Multi City Cheque, lockers. BUSINESS-deposits, loans, and advances multi City Cheque ,BoB money express, collection services,ECS,lockers.

CORPORATE- wholesale banking ,deposits ,loans and advances ,appraisal and merchant banking ,cash management and remittances. INTERNATIONAL- NRIservices ,FCNR (B) loans ,offshore banking ,export and import finance ,international treasury. TREASURY- domestic and forex operations. RURAL- deposits ,priority sector advances ,remittances ,pension ,lockers. Along with the above facilities the Bank of Baroda also offers some value-added services like Baroda internet /mobile banking ,ATM services ,Baroda OMNI ,Baroda Remit Xpress and Money Transfer Services Scheme.

Financial Highlights-the business results of the Bank of Baroda as recorded the total deposits Rs93,661.99crores ,total advances Rs59,91crores ,total investments Rs35,114.22crores ,total assets Rs11,3392.53crores and net profit Rs826.96crores. The Bank of Baroda secured the ISO 9001:2000 Certification for its 15 branches . They target to achieve this quality mark for 54 more branches.

BoB started it first overseas branch at Mombassa in Kenya way back in 1953.Today it has transformed into Indias International bank. With network of 74 offices in 25 countries. 3 representative offices in Malaysia ,Thailand &Australia. Joint Venture in Zambia with 11 branches. The Bank has presence in worlds major financial centers i.e. New York ,London ,Brussels ,Dubai ,Hong Kong ,and Singapore. Bank plan to set up in New Zealand ,Russia ,Canada ,Qatar ,Mozambique ,Suriname ,Kuwait ,Saudi Arabia etc.
